Yael Shina-Louff, PPSC, LCSW
Yael Shina-Louff is a bilingual (Spanish and English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience supporting the mental health of individuals of all ages. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Social Work at New York University and received her Masters in Social Work at California State University, Long Beach.
Yael’s first passion and early work experience covers children to young adult populations in the home and school settings. She has developed programs and groups for individuals of all ages which include support for new comers, body positivity, and various other adolescent support groups. Yael sees the importance of child development and the difficulties experienced during the adolescent and young adult years.
Yael’s passion for starting a private practice has stemmed from having a child of her own. She understands the need for providing resources and supporting parents through their pregnancy and postpartum journeys as well as making services more accessible to all, and she is here to do just that.
Yael is first generation born in the Unites States with a Latino and Middle Eastern background. She has spent many years traveling and studying both her own cultures and that of others. As a result, she comes with a wealth of cultural competency and understands the importance of cultural values and individual needs. She will create a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing space for anyone to thrive.
Work History
-Los Angeles Unified School District: As a School Based Psychiatric Social Worker (PSW), Yael supported adolescents and their families by navigating mental health needs, providing school wide interventions, and supporting crisis situations (including, but not limited to, suicide risk and self injury). As a Crisis Counseling and Support PSW, she offered clinical supervision (in compliance with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences) to MSW’s as well as creating and providing trainings for School Mental Health.
-African Refugee Development Center: Located in Tel Aviv, Israel, Yael provided community outreach, counseling, and case management services to individuals and families seeking refuge.
-Amanecer Community Counseling: As a mental health clinician and wraparound provider, Yael supported children and families within the school, home, and clinic settings.
Bryan Louff, OTR
Bryan Louff is a Registered Occupational Therapist, who has experience working in pediatric to geriatric population settings. Bryan received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Clarke University (Iowa) and his Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Governors State University (Illinois). He is currently the Director of Rehabilitation at Marina Pointe Healthcare in Culver City, CA.
Bryan has practiced in various settings including early intervention home health, outpatient pediatric clinic, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care.
Bryan’s hobbies and occupations include all sports, physical fitness, cooking, gardening and home improvement projects to name a few. Bryan values his family and friends and loves to spend time catching up and making new memories.

Yael ve la importancia del desarrollo infantil y las dificultades experimentadas durante los años de la adolescencia y la adultez temprana.
La pasión de Yael por comenzar una práctica privada se deriva de tener su propio hija. Ella entiende la necesidad de proporcionar recursos y apoyar a las madres durante su viaje de embarazo y posparto, así como hacer que los servicios sean más accesibles para todos, y está aquí para hacer precisamente eso.
Yael es la primera generación nacida en los Estados Unidos con antecedentes latinos y del Medio Oriente. Ha pasado muchos años viajando y estudiando tanto su propia cultura como la de otros. Como resultado, ella viene con una riqueza de competencia cultural y comprende la importancia de los valores culturales y las necesidades individuales.
